This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom ground floor home is the perfect family rental that will leave both, the kids and the adults happy. The home has a large flat LED screen TV in the living area, a fully equipped kitchen with the basics and bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses. A King size bed and flat screen TV in the Master Bedroom and two queen size beds in Bedroom #2. All bedrooms have  ceiling fans. There is a laundry room with a washer and a dryer conveniently located in the home.

A french style door connects you with the wonderful and tropical patio, featuring a huge swimming pool. Other amenities include WiFi throughout the property.

There is enough parking for two vehicles in the driveway

The wonderful SPI beach is only a short walk away (half block), and there are a couple of very good restaurants at walking distance from the home, such as PadreRita Grill and Black Beards, two of my favorites!

Nearby activities include: Beach, Golf, Water Park (seasonal), Pier Fishing, Surf Fishing, Bay Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Boating, Kayaking, Fitness Center, Miniature Golf, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Bird Watching, Museums, Beachcombing, Horseback Riding, Movie Theater, Nightlife, and many, many, restaurants.

Once I rent this unit, how will I get the keys?

You don’t need a key!
I have installed electronic locks in all access doors. A couple days before your arrival I will provide you with a “personalized access code” and check-in instructions. 

 

Is there a grill available?

There is a portable charcoal grill or an open flame charcoal grill available on first come first served basis.

 

Is there parking available? 

Yes, all units have at least parking for two vehicles. Please do not block other units parking spaces! Some streets in SPI allow parking on the street and some don’t. Please ask! 

 

Is the swimming pool heated?

No, it is not!

 

Is the swimming pool shared?

Yes, the patio and swimming pool are shared with one other unit! 

 

Are pets allowed?

House-trained pets are allowed through a small pet fee! 2 pets max!

 

Is there an age restriction to rent this property?

Yes, there is. The responsible person must be 25 years old or older and a staying guest during the rental period. Exceptions are possible through a higher refundable deposit but complete group must be older than 21. Other restrictions and requirements may apply

 

How far is the beach?

It takes me 4-6 minutes to walk from the property to the public beach access.

 

Are parties or events allowed?

No, neither parties nor events are allowed at any of our properties. Some complexes when this rule is broken, the responsible person(s) may be subject to a $300 fine.

 

May I exceed the maximum allowed occupancy. May I bring an air mattress? Are children counted?

No, each property holds an occupancy certificate issued by the City of South Padre Island. Exceeding maximum occupancy risks voiding the certificate and may subject you to hefty fines or eviction. You may bring an air mattress as long as the maximum occupancy is not exceeded. Yes, children are counted in the number of guests.
