Sun Ray 2-B is a great 1 Bedroom / 1 Full Bathroom condo centrally located on the gulf side of the island and close to everything. This recently remodeled condo on the second floor of the Sun Ray 6-plex, has a Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed, two bunk beds in the extra wide hallway and a Full size sleeper sofa in the living room, which can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. The condo has A/C, two TVs, fast internet with WiFi, and a kitchen equipped with Stainless Steel appliances, granite counters and cooking needs such as dishes, utensils, microwave, coffeemaker, blender and toaster. The dining area sits 6 and for your convenience it has a washer/dryer combo in the unit. The location of the building is very convenient by having lots of amenities within walking distance.

 

This pet friendly unit is ideal for families and families with children, romantic weekends, BFF girls vacations, fishing trips, business trips, winter Texans and Spring Breakers (Notes: Responsible person must be 25 years old or older and a staying guest during the rental period. For Spring Break and Easter week rentals there are additional requirements which includes additional refundable deposits – Minimum age requirement is 21 to rent during these two seasons – Approved pets require a non-refundable one-time pet fee per pet/stay – 2 pets max).

There are 2 assigned parking spots per unit. The back patio has a portable charcoal grill available for guests. NO POOL, but a very SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH.

Note: Please note there may be some noise present until February 2020 due to renovations being done to other units in the building. The renovation is restricted from 8am to 6pm.

Once I rent this unit, how will I get the keys?

You don’t need a key!
I have installed electronic locks in all access doors. A couple days before your arrival I will provide you with a “personalized access code” and check-in instructions. 

 

Is there a grill available?

Most properties have either a portable charcoal grill or an open flame charcoal grill available on first come first served basis.  

 

Is there parking available? 

Yes, all units have at least parking for two vehicles. Please do not block other units parking spaces! Some streets in SPI allow parking on the street and some don’t. Please ask! 

 

Is there a swimming pool in the complex?

No, but the property is just a few steps away from the beach

 

Are pets allowed?

House-trained pets are allowed through a small pet fee! 2 pets max!

 

Is there an age restriction to rent this property?

Yes, there is. The responsible person must be 25 years old or older and a staying guest during the rental period. Exceptions are possible through a higher refundable deposit but complete group must be older than 21. Other restrictions and requirements may apply

 

How far is the beach?

It  takes me 4-8 minutes to walk from the property to the public beach access.

 

Are parties or events allowed?

No, neither parties nor events are allowed at any of our properties. Some complexes when this rule is broken, the responsible person(s) may be subject to a $300 fine.

 

May I exceed the maximum allowed occupancy. May I bring an air mattress? Are children counted?

No, each property holds an occupancy certificate issued by the City of South Padre Island. Exceeding maximum occupancy risks voiding the certificate and may subject you to hefty fines or eviction. You may bring an air mattress as long as the maximum occupancy is not exceeded. Yes, children are counted in the number of guests
